Brewing Up a Trip to Miller Park as Opening Day Approaches
Hey Oakwood Brewer fans! Opening Day is almost upon us!
The Milwaukee Brewers kick off the 2015 season by taking on rivals The Colorado Rockies at 1:10 PM on Monday, April 6. The most ingenious Brewer fans will find their way to Miller Park by planning ahead. Not just by buying behind the dugout tickets, but also by reserving top notch transportation to get them from Oakwood or anywhere in the Milwaukee area to Miller Park with time to spare for game day tailgating!
For the extreme tailgating experience, Oakwood fans know that the Miller Lot opens about three hours before the first pitch. If you are considering hiring a limo bus for your game day, be aware that all commercially licensed vehicles must park in the bus area. For the lowest price, purchase these stall tickets at least seven days ahead of the game date. Bus parking costs are $5 more within six days of game date. This year’s Weather Day—held the day after Earth Day—will indulge fans to weather trivia with the Storm Team 4 meteorologists and a collaborative science fair, which features Discovery World, The Milwaukee Public Museum, and The Mitchell Park Domes. Kids and adults alike will delight in the special appearances by Bernie Brewer and the Klements World Famous Sausages, racing alongside with other concession specials such as the $1 hot dog and $1 small soda. The Weather Day program begins at 9:15 AM, and the first pitch is at 12:40 PM.
